CCTV Installation in Begur

Fast-growing homes and rentals in Begur

Begur, between Hosur Road and Bannerghatta Road, has changed from a village with a lake and temple into one of South Bangalore’s fastest-growing residential areas. Narrow village roads now lead to new apartment projects, independent houses in Vishwapriya Layout and Akshayanagar, and many owner-built rental buildings around Hongasandra and Devarachikkanahalli.

Many owners here build a house with rental floors and want CCTV planned before the plastering is finished, so cables run inside the walls. Mid-sized apartments of 40–150 flats need gate, lobby, lift and parking coverage, often with a single guard at the gate watching a monitor. Shops along Begur Road and Begur–Koppa Road ask for counter and door views, plus one camera on the road outside.

Begur sits close to Electronic City and the Hosur Road industries, so many residents are shift workers who are away at odd times. For them, motion alerts on the phone matter as much as recording, and we tune detection zones so alerts come from the gate and doors, not from passing traffic or swaying trees.

Local factors in Begur

• Empty plots between houses are common, so side walls need cameras with good IR range and intrusion alerts.
• Roads and drains are still being upgraded in many pockets; outdoor junction boxes are sealed and raised above splash level.
• Power cuts are more frequent on the outskirts, so the NVR, switch and router are connected to an inverter or UPS.
• Building during construction? We lay conduit and pull cables before plastering and come back to fit cameras when painting is done.
• Some streets have weak broadband; we check the internet before promising smooth phone viewing, and can suggest a 4G router if needed.
